About Peter Zuidema

Over the course of my extensive career spanning more than three decades, I have honed my skills in designing user experiences for a diverse range of products. These include websites, mobile applications - and even a theme park attraction - across industries such as finance, healthcare, communication technology, education, and entertainment.I am very passionate about giving the user the best experience, whether it is a product used for fun or to do a job effectively. That also includes making sure that everyone can work with the product, which is why I am a firm proponent of achieving ADA Accessibility compliance in all the products that we produce. The realm of user experience design is a dynamic one, constantly evolving and presenting new challenges.     As a UX/UI and Accessibility Consultant, I am working with different businesses for short and long term UX/UI solutions. This ranges from simple wireframes and user flows, to user research, creating usability labs and training UX personnel, to building full-scale prototypes (sometimes with the appropriate tool, sometimes hard-coded from scratch) that can test the project before going into production, or allocate required financing.I also train teams in UI development (from old-fashioned HTML and JavaScript/CSS) and teach them the basics of working with Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x). I also help design and development teams learn to work and communicate with each other.
