As a manager within Small Commercial Operations I coach and develop staff to achieve, and in some cases, exceed the organizational objectives. My team is responsible for servicing policy change requests, promoting and delivering value through our digital capabilities. Most importantly we excel at building long-lasting, healthy relationships with our internal business partners, external agents and small business customers.

I led a hybrid team of Customer Care Representatives that assisted customers in setting up first notice of loss reports for Auto, Property, General Liability and Workers Compensation claims. My team was skilled in handling general claims inquiries across all P&C lines of businesses; as well as Group Benefits existing claim inquiries.

I researched, investigated and resolved bodily injury claims for both attorney represented and non-represented claimants. In addition to the essential functions of my role, I mentored numerous peers, was a former arbitrator, Supplemental Resource Group (SRG) representative and participated in key process improvement initiatives such as a pilot to improve the reliability and consistency in bodily injury evaluations within Claim IQ. I also received recognition for championing The Hartford Way and embracing the change management philosophy.

My career began in the P&C organization as a PDO claim representative from which I was promoted to the role of an ABI adjuster. As an auto adjuster I strengthened my communication, organizational, problem solving and leadership skills. I achieved the department’s key performance metrics, mentored numerous peers and participated in numerous stretch assignments.
