Initially hired as a personal assistant to the CFO to this property management and investment company my role soon expanded. Soon I began to dabble in executive administration including financial analysis and reports for the CEO and CFO as well as major HR roles such as payroll and benefits. A challenging task was updating the antique employee handbook as well as implementing new procedures and policies to autonomous departments. Special projects arise such as ADA compliance and I lead a team of 8 members to produce a comprehensive 5 yr plan that includes budget, sensitivity to particular needs, building codes and anticipated future needs. Another hat I enjoy wearing is event coordinator from idea conception to execution detail down to the last fork and napkin. These events range from employee appreciation, leadership training, executive meetings, various celebrations and THE annual Christmas party. Juggling many roles and tasks presents new challenges, surprises and victories (no matter how minuscule) everyday. I am a continual learner and keep up with property management certificates, OSHA training and latest HR policies and regulations.
