Ruwais/Jebel Dhanna Abu Dhabi (ADNOC-Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) ( From 02-09-2018 till date)Currently serving ADNOC in the capacity of Senior Pilot/Loading Master (Senior Marine Pilot). In my job I have the opportunity to perform a diversity of duties. Briefly elaborated as follows.The prime responsibility is to Maneuver the ship (all size and types – Tankers including VLCC’s, Bulkers, Container Ships, LNG Carriers, and passenger ships) safely through complex and long channel of Ruwais/Jebel Dhana and berth her efficiently alongside jetties or at SPMs, making efficient use of all available resources that is ship’s engine, available assisting tugs, prevailing wind and currents and best judgment out of my experience. Similarly, Performing the role of Loading-Master to Monitor Loading Unloading of HC cargoes while ship is berthed at SPM. Filling out and completing various checklists as per international standard and local requirements. Additionally, carrying out Surveys of ship (e.g vetting and terminal inspection) whenever being asked.On top of that I also impart vital training to new Pilots and Loading Masters and do assessment for their license and certifications.Previously I sailed in the capacity of master on various types and size of vessels ranging from Panamax to VLCCs from 2001 through 2017.Did MBA for the better understanding of business and Market tendencies, especially in shipping and port Managements.Experienced Master with a demonstrated history of working in the maritime industry. Skilled in Ship Management, Seamanship, GMDSS, Maritime Operations, and Maritime Security. Strong professional with a BSc. Maritime Studies focused in Nautical Subjects from Pakistan Marine Academy.
