Overseeing the credit analysis and portfolio management of BNP Paribas’ activities in Securitisation across EMEA and APAC.

- Analysis and approval for files (securitization and related exposures/structures using securitization techniques) originated by the Asset Finance & Securitization (AFS) platform within Global Markets.- Annual reviews and amendments for existing commitments. - Independent evaluation of the risks, including challenging business assumptions, risk analysis, rating proposals, and capital inputs. - Preparing the agenda and minutes of securitization credit committees.- Validating parameters for regulatory capital for transactions in scope- Participating in risk due diligence meetings with clients and servicers- Ensuring the securitization activities in EMEA are in compliance with global risk policies.

- Engagement with the Structured Finance Directors and other origination colleagues to provide structuring and execution of new transactions and the active maintenance of existing deals. The portfolio comprised 8 existing deals with a size of circa A$4bn.- Product expertise across a number of asset classes within the asset backed securities or securitisation sector including Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS), Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS), Auto Finance Receivables, Personal Finance Receivables and Small to Medium Enterprise unsecured receivables. - Preparing pitch documents for the presentation to external clients and internal stakeholders for the securitisation product- Review and negotiation of term sheets & transaction documents and co-ordination with key partners with credit, legal and the client to conclude a successful closing.

- Credit analysis, credit rating assignment and risk management for a portfolio of 17 clients with a portfolio size of circa A$1bn and in the industries of IT & Telecommunication Services, Professional and Financial Services, Mining Services and Hoteliers.- Preparation of financial and strategic analyses and presentation material supporting risk analysis and idea generation for the benefit of deal origination and risk management. - Analysis of customers of a defined portfolio including risk profiling, financial analysis & related credit submission activities - completing within agreed timeframes to support deal origination;- Undertaking dynamic risk management of the portfolio incorporating accurate & timely monitoring of macro-economic and market events which could impact the portfolio and counterparty credit quality.

- Enabling effective management of a large portfolio of substandard and impaired assets.- Undertake financial analysis, credit reporting and research to manage underlying counterparty and industry risks and to minimise the Bank’s loss given default.- Maintaining core business relationships with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders such as law firms and insolvency firms.- Training new members of the team through structured workshops.

- Analysis and screening of potential opportunities for new corporate deals and determining if the opportunity is within the Bank’s risk appetite;- Undertake financial analysis, credit reporting and research to determine, manage and structure the underlying counterparty and industry risks and to maximise value for both the client and the Bank.

- Facilitating the preparation of security documents in line with credit approval and liaising with external solicitors regarding complex facilities.- Preparation of minor credit submissions for approval, including financial analysis.
