Corporate Recovery (Advisory)

Specialising in independent business reviews and assisting in company administrations predominately appointed through company creditors. The role involves obtaining detailed understanding of company operations, performing financial and operational forecast reviews including extensive spreadsheet and variance analysis. In addition, challenging management assumptions within the models, highlighting sensitivities and making recommendations within written presentations.

Assurance

Involved in the planning, execution and completion of the statutory audit (under both UK GAAP and IFRS) specialising primarily in the Financial Services Industry. Responsibilities include managing the delivery of audit services at several clients simultaneously, developing and maintaining client relationships, managing and coaching junior staff, preparing and monitoring budgets whilst delivering to tight timescales. Specialised in control based audits which includes performing business process reviews, IT general controls to support the external audit process and internal audit reviews. Maintain personal responsibility for delivery of exceptional client service on my portfolio of clients and have an active role in addressing the client’s accounting and IT issues, control weaknesses whilst making practical business recommendations.
