I have been admitted to the roll of solicitors for England and Wales as of April 2016. I am also registered to provide immigration advice and representation with the OISC at Level 3.I am a very dedicated individual and understand the professional responsibility. I possess a high standard of personal integrity and I have a very ethical approach.As I deal with mainly complex issues and appeals and regularly update staff with the relevant changes to the law in which the organisation provides a service in. Practical legal research has become second nature to me.I have good communication and interpersonal skills which makes it easy to interview clients and build a rapport with them. My verbal communication skills are of a very high standard.My problem solving and communication skills are of the highest degree and I am able to construct, as well as deconstruct complex language into plain English.I am currently employed as a Specialist Welfare Rights and Immigration Advisor at the Girlington Advice and Training Centre and have been employed in this capacity since 2010 dealing with a complex caseload.In my current role I act as consultant and supervisor to trainee staff as well as the general casework team.In my current role I draft submissions, witness statements and represent clients in the First-tier Tribunal hearings in the Social Entitlement Chamber as well as the Immigration and Asylum Chamber.I have advocated on behalf of clients in a number of instances which include immigration tribunal hearings, benefit appeal hearings, tax credit fraud hearings and housing evictions. I have also advocated on behalf of lenders in the District Judges Chamber in the County Courts. My written skills are also of the highest standard and I use clear, concise and unambiguous language in all communications with clients and recipients. My written communications are drafted with the recipient in mind.
