YWCA Jump is a settlement/employment program for women who are permanent residents or Convention refugees to help integrate them into the Canadian society.

YWCA REACH is a 2 week job search program for women. Facilitate job search related workshops to groups of 10-15 women, and help find work.

Assisted with recruiting over 500 volunteers to run the weekend long conference which was attended by over 5000 people.

I took care of all the administrative operations including record keeping, payroll, financials and taxes for 8 years.

I assisted 50 -100 people a day in their job search activities. Using the computer,creating resumes, looking for job leads, finding labour market information and facilitating several job search workshops per month.

My role was to provide a needs assessment and case management for unemployed individuals using the Common Assessment model used by HRSDC, now Employment Ontario, and refer clients to the appropriate intervention in attaining employment.

I had 3 different roles at Skills for Change, including part-time project coordinator for Internationally Trained Engineers coalition, Admin Assistant for the New Pioneers Awards and Intake and Assessment counsellor.
