Wood PLC is providing project management services to Kuwait National Petroleum Company for the expansion of existing refinery named Mina Ahmadi as part of CFP (Clean Fuel Project) to increase the oil production and export facilities to achieve the 2020-year target.º Responsible for the design review of deliverables and activities related to civil/structural/Architectural by reviewing material approvals, waiver requests & technical queries, design change notices for both green and brown fields for different plant units, maintenance & operation buildings, substation and workshop buildings.- Verification of Method Statements for different construction activities as well as the heavy rain / flood damages restoration works.- Verify as-built drawings.- Site walk downs prior to Mechanical & Construction Completion Certificate.- Verification of Punch Items as per specifications.- Supporting construction & QA/QC teams according to contract requirements.- Supporting claim management team by providing technical support for change order requests (CORs)

Fluor is providing project management, design, engineering, FEED, contracting, procurement and project controls to Kuwait Oil Company for various projects.• Responsible for Project Management of contractor’s design for EF/1700 project (Integrated Security System of all KOC) and buildings in south & east, west and north Kuwait oilfields. • Review of security layout for Brownfield facilities i.e. Gathering Centers, Booster stations, water injection plants and electrical substations. Survey, slit trench & existing services layouts, longitudinal profiles, grading and drainage plans, protection of existing underground services, crossing of existing above ground services through security fence, asphalt road and paving plans.• Review of civil/structural & architectural design deliverable for Guard Houses, Equipment Buildings, Asset Centers and Main Security Building.• Liaison among other PMCs to solve the interface matters.• Materials & manufacturer approvals.• Addressing RFI, FCN and FCRs.

• Engineering Coordination for design works with design consultant, client and other discipline contractors.• Responsible for Basic Survey, Detailed Survey, marking layout for security fence keeping in view under/above ground services, Sliding Gates, roads, guard house/security equipment building and other facilities.• Review of design drawings, shop drawings, inspection and testing plans, method statements and other deliverables before submission to client.• Definitive cost estimate, progress monitoring, and finalization of scope of work for different contractors and fixation of milestones for different activities. • Follows up with client, when necessary and hold regular status meetings with client.• Effectively communicates project relevant information to superiors.• Providing solutions for the problems arises at site during construction stage.

• In charge of project at site including material, construction, resource management from its inception to the time of completion.• Create and execute project work plans and revised as appropriate to meet changing and requirements.• Identify required resources and assign individual responsibilities to manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project.• Review of deliverables prepared by design/construction team, before passing to Client.• Effectively applied approved methodologies (HSE & quality assurance) and enforce project standards.• Follows up with client, when necessary and hold regular status meetings with project team and Client.• Resolve/escalate site issues in a timely fashion.• Obtain the necessary approvals or permits. • Overseeing the construction work and site staff to ensure that construction resources are used well with safety.• Eligible to apply through electronic permitting system.• Responsible for the Commissioning of the project.• Checking of As-build drawing.• Ensure project documents are completed and stored properly.

Responsible for Supervision of different activities of Construction at site like steel reinforcement, formwork and concrete of shell, pump house and hot water inlet, partition walls, columns and foundations. It also includes the management of manpower of different skills and arrangement of all accessories/spare parts. Material management of mechanical, electrical and water distribution system for tower II, keeping in view the upcoming activities.
