Worked on the RAIN project which stands for Real-time Account Information Notification. It consumed the feed from CSG known as the ENI feed, or Event Notification Interface feed. The function of RAIN is to accept real- time messages about updates to accounts from CSG and notify the proper Dish-side applications of these changes. It is the replacement for the FMS system. Client applications are generally interested in only a few of the different RAIN messages, each have its own filter criteria so that we only send the messages, which that client is interested in.
