About Abdur Rafay Qasmi

Materials scientist with an aim to make this world a better place through sustainable engineering, energy production is one of the major CO2 producers in the world. Battery technology is the backbone in renewable energy production and currently the most practical solution for zero emission automotives. I have developed my skills in development and processing of cathode materials in a laboratory setting. Currently I am working on a project in dry processing of LFP and NMC cathode powders with various binders, this will help us remove the step of drying in processing and also the usage of toxic NMP as binder in LFP. Dry processing is a seen as a primary step towards the future all state solid batteries.Currently looking to expand and apply my understanding of batteries by working in a sophisticated industry with a focus towards development and production of battery systems.
