  New Bedford Research & Robotics (NBRR)The mission of New Bedford Research & Robotics, www.researchandrobotics.org,is to provide access to frontier technologies for commercial and social impact, througheducation, economic empowerment, and corporate engagement.Research & Robotics Intern- Supported research and client projects in the areas of robotics, blue tech, cleanenergy, data science/data visualization, gaming|VR|XR and artificial intelligence(AI) for the Co-Founders and their respective clients.- Modeled using Rhino 7 3D to create abstract shapes and mesh with other formsonline for 3D printing projects.- Worked on Rhino 7's add-on Grasshopper to map 3D models using differentpatterns of printing by means of clay extrusion with Adaxis.- Utilized Arduino/3D printing to create and code contraptions meant to fine-tunethe accuracy of clay-extrusion when forming larger and less rigid objects.- Created a 3D construction of the current layout of the NBRR research room anddesigned a new layout to accommodate space for incoming participants forsummer research program.- Instructed the summer high school research students on the fundamentals ofRhino 3D and how to incorporate the software into projects throughout theduration of the NBRR program.- Mapped a 6-axis robot to form templates into metal sheets that will be used bythe Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) NYC. The completed project willcombine the metal sheets and molten glass to create a glass model of an ATV.
