I am a graduate of OSU with my BA in English, but I did not start out with this end goal in mind. I came to Oregon planning to become a computer scientist, I was declared in the College of Engineering with the major of Computer Science, and hoped to become a video game designer. While I was taking the required CS classes, I was also taking creative writing courses. After three terms, I was beginning to notice that creative writing was taking personal priority, so I took a chance. I changed majors and committed to my passion for writing.Within two years of switching over, I completed my requirements as an English major. I used my extra time as a student to take writing courses in order to keep pushing myself to write. The passion that had started as a seed has since grown into a blooming tree, I still have much to learn both about myself and about the world, but I am excited for whatever may come.
