As part of GM's Strategic Connectivity Technologies Team, I represent GM at important standard setting organizations and consortia, including Wi-Fi Broadband Alliance, Wi-Fi Alliance and IEEE.Prior to joining GM, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the AI4Networks Research Center, where the focus of my research was in the following two areas: 1) Designing, managing and operating emerging wireless systems (with focus on 6G cellular and beyond); 2) Digital smart healthcare, where most of my works were done in collaboration the FDA. I have published over 18+ journal papers and 8+ peer reviewed conference papers at prestigious venues.As an adjunct lecturer at the University of Oklahoma, I have designed and taught the graduate level course ECE 5153: Emerging Topics in 5G and Beyond, Spring 2022 and co-taught TCOM 5553: Telecommunication Technology, Fall 2021 , both of which received incredible feedback from the students and the department.I am passionate about advancing the state-of-the-art in wireless technology and emerging healthcare applications and sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of engineers. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have collaborated with researchers from different countries and institutions, such as the University of Surrey, the FDA, Ericsson Research, InterDigital, Koç University and LUMS.

My research focuses on addressing the challenges of emerging wireless systems and healthcare applications using the tools of applied machine learning/artificial intelligence, in-house simulator development, commercial grade simulators, system modeling, analytical modeling, classical statistical methods and optimization. I have published multiple papers in prestigious conferences and journals.

My research interests focus on optimization and automation of 5G and beyond cellular networks, artificial intelligence for networks, applied machine learning, unmanned aerial vehicles, wireless communicationsMy recent works: - Addressing the data sparsity and lack of interpretability challenges in artificial intelligence-enabled cellular networks- MDT-based autonomous coverage estimation- Augmenting human intelligence with deep learning for cellular networks- Realistic simulator development for mobility management in cellular networks- Coverage estimation of unmanned aerial vehiclesI am also working with Ericsson Research in collaboration with OU to address the data scarcity/sparsity challenge in mobile networks for enabling AI based zero touch automation. I am investigating/identifying promising approaches to tackle data scarcity/sparsity challenge in context of different use cases in mobile networks and develop robust, interpretable and scalable solutions.
