Qian’ research is primarily focused on data management for High Performance Computing. Specifically, she is working on designing and developing software frameworks to support data-intensive scientific application on HPC clusters, with focus on how to distribute data, where to store data, and how to efficiently support data exchange among applications within scientific workflows based on techniques like in-situ/in-transit in distributed/large scale HPC environment.
