· Responsible for the development of future supervisors interpersonal communication skills and ability to adapt to customer and personnel relations work.· Monthly presentation of the future supervisors results and performance improvements to the department’s managers and Assistant Vice President· Interviews and/or approves job applicants for employment. Conducts and/or reviews associate performance appraisals. Initiates or approves salary adjustments, performance ratings, and other personnel changes.· Responsible for a $2.3 million hiring budget· Attend weekly hiring strategy meetings to analyze and produce ideas that would help improve hiring opportunities in the Indianapolis area· Assist in preparation of plans and budgets· Managed associates FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, and attendance· Travel to other regional offices to learn new systems applications and assist with the hiring process of new customer service personnel· Coordinate training schedules and conduct training courses on new systems applications for a department of 160+ associates and department heads· On-call operations delegate for the department when the managers are unavailable· Investigates, resolves and/or implements solutions to work related problems.
