Thomas is a gifted medical practitioner and natural healer who has walked his own powerful path of healing and self transformation. He has great respect and a deep knowledge of natural and traditional medicines, as well as a great passion for inner cultivation practices. He sees traditional medicine and spiritual practices both as a vehicle for self transformation as well as to promote healing ranging from the physical to the spiritual.For Thomas, the study of healing began in the mid 90's which included massage certification, reading the Seth material, and other metaphysical literature. The next step unfolded with the study and practice of medical qigong in 1999. Thomas went on to receive a doctorate in medical qigong through the International Institute of Medical Qigong and Henan University of TCM in 2006. While studying in China on five separate occasions, Thomas received lineage into the Dragon Gate sect of Daoism at Qingchengshan in Sichuan. His most recent step in the healing arts includes the completion of a masters degree in Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University, as well as becoming licensed to practice acupuncture.In addition to Thomas' study and practice of traditional medicine and healing, he also has a close association with the great Indian saint known as Amma or the hugging saint. He has served on staff for her tours in North America and abroad, absorbing her deep wisdom and compassion for the human condition.Thomas teaches medical qigong at Five Branches University, and leads classes and retreats in the Bay Area. He also offers acupuncture and medical qigong treatments, blending his years of dedicated Qi cultivation and spiritual studies to affect healing on many levels.
