My name is Qi Xiang and I am an ambitious student with a strong foundation in data science and machine learning, as well as experience in software development, computer vision and nlp. My education includes a first class degree in Computer Science at the University of Manchester, and upcoming studies in Environmental Data Science and Machine Learning at Imperial College. My technical skills are varied, mainly in Python (PyTorch, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib), but also in Java, HTML, CSS, OpenCV, and others. On top of these, I have a strong understanding of neural network algorithms, including DQN, DDQN, and PPO. I have interned at MCM China and Citrix Systems Information Technology where I honed my skills in data processing, software development and teamwork. I am passionate about continuous learning, not only in academics but also as evidenced by my interests in skiing, basketball and football. My goal is to apply my skills in a dynamic environment and contribute to impactful technology solutions.
