Equilibrium Law is a boutique litigation firm located in Ottawa, Canada.

I teach trial advocacy at the University of Ottawa Law School. The course develops a student's understanding of the art and science of litigation with an emphasis on trial preparation and techniques including opening and closing statements, examinations in chief, cross-examinations and impeaching witnesses.

I am a director on the Board of Directors for Third Wall Theatre Co. The Third Wall Theatre Company was founded by James Richardson & Ryan Anderson in 2001 and is one of Ottawa’s leading and multiple award-winning theatre companies. Its mandate is to “Engage in the present through the classics!” while enshrining all relationships in the principle of exchange which will continue its commitment to developing the Ottawa artistic community.

I currently teach tort and contract law as well as Civil Procedure in the law clerk's diploma program at Algonquin College. The law clerk program is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program that prepares graduates for employment as law clerks (also called legal assistants). I also teach Advocacy and the Tribunals: Advocacy & Procedures courses to paralegals through the paralegal program at Algonquin College. Paralegals are non-lawyers who provide legal services in specified areas of practice to the public for a fee. The program is accredited by the Law Society of Upper Canada, and prepares graduates to provide legal services under the guidelines of a licensed paralegal.

I was an associate in the insurance defence and personal injury practice group where I had occasion to act for a number of insurers and plaintiffs in Ontario. In addition, I acted as counsel for a number of builders, contractors, engineers, architects and condominiums in building deficiency litigation.
