Taught Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Industrial Biotechnology to undergraduate and graduate university students, and supervised research students in Master’s and PhD courses. Experienced in the design and execution of complex research studies for a fundamental understanding of the issues involved in technology development for health-care, and other products. Extensively experienced in both multi-cultural and Japanese settings, as well as in the management of university-industry R&D in multi-cultural and Japanese settings, as well as in managing projects. Invented and co-developed a successful health-care product, from the original idea and laboratory test to prototyping and field-testing (Febreze- Allergen Reducer has been globally marketed by Procter & Gamble). Currently, since 2018, working in a public university in Japan as a part-time professor.
