- Provided customer tailored software solutions for Windows Desktop, Windows Mobile/CE, and Android platforms based on business opportunity requests such as Bluetooth Scan and Pair application for Windows CE. This increase customer productivity by allowing them to easily pair with multiple Bluetooth printers via Bluetooth Discovery or by scanning barcode containing Bluetooth MAC address.- Design and implement Software Development Kits (SDKs) across multiple OS platforms (Windows, Android, and iOS) to enable customers to implement their own application to use with our printers within days instead of weeks. SDKs supports printing and configuration of printer through various communication methods such as TCP/IP, Bluetooth, and RS232.- Design and implement Auto Update Library for Android and iOS, which enables customers to update printer’s firmware, bootloaders, fonts, and graphics files using our defined APIs. This helps decrease the development time for customers and partners to create their own software solutions to work with our printers.- Design and implement an ActiveX Control to allow users to invoke SDK’s APIs in JavaScript- Design and implement Android/iOS remote management and configuration utility for D-O Printers. Application allows users to discover nearby or in-network Bluetooth/WiFi printers, download files and firmware, update configuration database, and print various types of formats.

- Perform firmware upgrade and testing for new firmware releases- Design and implement Remote Printer Testing desktop application to easily perform firmware testing across multiple printers and decrease the testing time by 25%. Supports RS232, Bluetooth, and TCP/IP protocols.- Write and perform unit testing for new firmware using Vector Cast.

Research and configure hardware for company’s touchscreen kiosk. Build custom Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich) from Android source tree and configure kernel to allow for touchscreen support. Flash bootloader and Android OS onto the SD card and loaded it onto development board (Pandaboard ES). Provide proper configurations for different touchscreen including touchscreen calibration.
