Chief Engineer
Current- Lead eight engineering technicians to oversee daily mission critical operations and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment in a 8MW data center, manage and approve all routine and emergency maintenance in an active operation.- Manages and approves all routine and emergency maintenance in an active operation setting while ensuring customer’s data reliability without affecting latency while ensuring customer’s data reliability without affecting latency- Develop detailed Root Cause Analysis and approves change managements, emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet performance benchmarks of 99.999958% data center resiliency- Manages small to medium projects in parallel from conception to completion between AWS and external support groups in local and global settings i.e. hall capacity infill, rack backfeeding, live load transfers, power distribution upgrade integrations- Monitor performance of maintenance and operations utilizing telemetry, control systems, and other platforms in response to all alarms- Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and to complete work order requests for maintenance work and generate reporting to identify outstanding and ongoing work orders
