WIBFF, a nonprofit annual film festival, offers an accessible format for black filmmakers, featuring engaging and immersive workshops for filmmakers. It’s a platform for black voices to share their cultures and experiences through creative art with local and global audience.

Founded the non-profit organization to promote and celebrate the African Diaspora and the heritage and culture of people of Africa, as well as those of African descent living in Canada and around the world, by supporting the creative arts and cultural expressions used in films, music, heritage storytelling, performative plays and dramas, literature, and culinary arts. In addition, the Windsor International Diaspora African Festival (WIDAFest) will display many aspects of culture and heritage to facilitate cultural education through immersion to the people of Windsor, Canada, and the general public attending from around the world.
