Managed over fifty dotted line, Customer Service Manager reports and fifteen direct reports.• Developed training plans and facilitated regular training for over fifty Customer Service Managers, partnering with various subject matter experts to ensure quality, efficient delivery• Developed corporate operations training materials used to train over 150 Customer Service managers across the UMB footprint• Developed branch performance scorecards to evaluate branch performance against metrics• Reduced errors and implemented policy and procedure improvements that accounted for a >50% improvement in general ledger ticket error resolution time• Developed and implemented cash management evaluation and delivery procedure that reduced excess branch cash by >20%, accounting for an approximate $1.5MM increase in overnight investable cash• Performed branch audit reviews to evaluate and improve performance, improving scores by up to 35% and scoring the first consumer banking corporate audit score of 95%+ in several years• Reviewed and prioritized capital expenditures for projects, up to $500,000 or more• Complete management of flexible staff of fifteen direct reports, including non-exempt and exempt associates up to Assistant Vice President level, with payroll of approximately $400,000• Developed and promoted flexible staff associates into various roles in the bank including: investment and wealth management support, corporate audit, branch management and consumer banking support• Responsible for teller mentor and personal banker programs that defined multi-week training cycles and performance standards for new hires resulting in increased new hire retention as evidenced by a drop in open positions from mid 50’s to mid 30’s on average
