•Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of the manager.● Assures quality customer service to all customers● Maintains acceptable and punctual attendance.● Coordinates and delivers technical training (eg. SOPs, technical job skills and competency/proficiency evaluations). Ensures proper time is provided and any necessary follow up.● May assist with workflow, training and mentoring of trainees.● Monitors staff compliance to SOP, FDA, AABB standards; reports any deviations to manager ordirector. ● Remains competent in lab testing● Performs sample donor testing in compliance with regulatory requirements. Recognizes andidentifies any testing irregularities, equipment issues, troubleshoots and implements correctiveactions. Reports to manager● Maintains awareness and follows all safety protocols● Maintains knowledge of training and adult learning methods● Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs/ materials and may make suggestions forchanges● Satisfy CLIA regulations for high complexity testing.● Demonstrate proficiency on multiple benches/ platforms● Troubleshoot in issues on multiple benches/ platforms● Knowledgeable in technical blood banking and pharmaceutical activities. And have anunderstanding of federal and state regulations effecting testing.● Knowledgeable GMP, quality management theory and practices.
