Provide intermediate level technical support, field service, installation, repair, adjustments, and maintenance for all technology used in classrooms, meetings and events, including high profile and VIP events. · Systems supported include: learning management, audience response, digital signage, displays, PC and Mac hardware and software, Unified Communications, audio/visual control and switching equipment, projection equipment, lecture capture, video streaming, web casting, and video recording and production equipment. · Attend complex service calls and installations with Level II, Level III and Sr. Level Technology Specialists to assist and receive service and technology protocol mentoring regarding complex and high level Clients. · Conduct individual and group instruction for Clients and Student Workers on the operation of all classroom technology. Suggest content for written and video materials for training purposes. Participate in the documentation of all technical details and operational aspects of projects and initiatives and for the maintenance of departmental standard operating procedures. · Maintain knowledge of current and emerging educational technologies through research and participation in professional organizations and user's groups. Collaborate with all branches of BU IS&T to ensure standards and recommendations are understood and adopted by Clients. · Provide guidance and mentoring to student employees.
