I received my best ever teaching evaluations, including the comment: "structure of the class helped solve problems in other classes".Fordham University provides strong professional support with a course in Career Exploration for freshmen. I developed a stronger focus on LinkedIn, also adopted by other instructors. Students now blog regularly, establishing a bigger digital profile for themselves and for Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business.Many FIT students were unaccustomed to public speaking or presentations. I introduced a series of debates, one assessed. One student reported: “Doing debates in class has taught me way more than I would have ever expected to learn in a public relations class.”New Jersey City University faced an urgent need to cover classes for a professor who had died suddenly over the summer break. As an emergency hire, I delivered my first class on my second working day in the US. Students reacted positively to my innovative teaching and assessment techniques.
