A communications professional, I have both in-house and agency experience interning for over 2 years at Cru of Two PR and spending a summer with Global 500, Nissan Motor Corporation as a Corporate Communications Intern for their North American Headquarters. Currently I am working as a Communications Manager at Battelle in Columbus, Ohio, assisting with the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network.I have multifaceted experiences in communication from copywriting for an audience of over 1.5 million to extensive work in graphic design and social media management and strategy. One of my greatest accomplishments is researching and presenting a storytelling strategy as a part of Nissan's recognition of AAPI Heritage Month.My skills and goals are geared towards the success of the company and the individual. Founded by the Cleveland Browns Foundation in 2019 alongside Harvard's Proving Ground and the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, SITG! works to combat chronic absenteeism in schools. The Network partners with the Cleveland Browns, Columbus Crew, and FC Cincinnati to engage with regional districts and their educators; share the importance of going to school plus the harmful effects of chronic absenteeism; and connect with students to build excitement around attendance and set them up for success. As of October 28, 2024, the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network represents 161 Ohio school districts including just over 494,000 students.Responsibilities and Projects:- Led a bi-weekly communications meeting that includes members of pro-team partners and ODEW.- Project managed the annual convening in Columbus, OH with education leaders from across the state.- Worked with external vendors, partners, planning committee, and venue to host attendees for event.- Created various graphic design deliverables, both print and digital, incorporating partner branding.- Flyers, social media graphics, data dashboards, presentation decks, one-pagers, integration documents- Designed and implement a variety of branded templates to use when interacting with districts and partners to make operations more efficient.
