Key activities:Principal Investigator performing Applied Research for the following projects funded by the United States Department of Homeland Security's Science and Technology Directorate 1- "The Mobile Authentication Interoperability for Digital Certificates (MAIDC)" - Lead the design, development and certification of the Mobile Authenticator, which allows FIDO clients to leverage their existing PKI infrastructure to authenticate mobile users with at a high level of assurance, including the identification of proof of concepts to validate the technology & business model.2- Backend Attribute Exchange - In partnership with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU-APL), lead the Queralt efforts and implemented a Backend Attribute Exchange infrastructure that enable end user identification and verification between different organizations ensuring that a person’s credentials would be kept at their workplace, and be accessible should they visit another organization. Business Development for Context driven decision making platform utilizing RFID, GPS, Mobile and other sensorial data attributes - Lead the efforts on identifying and implementing the first end user applications, focused around people tracking, supply chain visibility and asset management. Developed traction in the healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

As we started the company - we focused on developing solutions for tracking and securing high value assets for organizations, utilizing RFID and Sensor technology. My role, was to lead the efforts around product, market & fit by identifying early customers and testing our value proposition.To achieve our objective, we identified the key characteristics of our ideal customer, define a strategy to reach then with partners and partnered with leading RFID to develop the products and solutions. Our first customers were in education, healthcare & manufacturing. The revenues generated, validation of our hypothesis and support from our early customers, allowed us to grow the business, receive early investments and propelled us to the development and productization of a real time contextual decision platform.
