About Dr. Quiana Shamsid-Deen, Dsw, Lmsw

As a serial social entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the children and family industry, I have dedicated my life to empowering others and creating meaningful change. My diverse background includes roles in school administration, child protective services, early childhood family services, foster and adoption services, restauranteur and non-profit leadership. As the Executive Director of the Supreme Family Foundation, I am passionate about eradicating food insecurity for senior citizens and youth, promoting cultural exposure for young people through our passport and first international trip initiative, and closing the debt and capital gaps for Black women and Black-owned employer business owners with our Freedom Fund initiative. As a passionate entrepreneur, I am deeply committed to leveraging my unwavering dedication to service as a catalyst for transforming the economic ecosystem of my community, fostering growth and empowerment through strategic entrepreneurial initiatives that create lasting impact. I am a researcher, writer, and educator, but my most significant mission is to advocate for Black women, dispelling the myth of the "strong Black woman." I am dedicated to creating safe spaces for vulnerability and promoting emotional well-being while simultaneously addressing the racial wealth gap through capital infusion in black-owned employer businesses. As a Black woman myself, I aim to foster a world where equity, empowerment, and well-being are at the forefront for Black women and the broader Black community.
