Over the last two decades, I have progressed through the different phases of my career to work my way to this point through drive, dedication and also to my open and friendly nature (I like to think). Beginning with my first-class honours degree in 2000 I worked fulltime over the following ten years for the biggest provider of software to the construction industry in the UK. In parallel, I also worked hard in my own time learning and developing skills in the areas I wished to progress in to, in particular, film production and photography. Going full time in these fields in 2011 now means I am able to work passionately in a role that gives me true satisfaction, be that working closely with people of different ages and needs to produce a film they love and are proud to be a part of, teaching people skills they then use to fulfil their creative goals, working as part of a community of people working hard to make their city better through arts and culture and also developing and growing as a photographer, filmmaker and arts practitioner.
