I work with a fantastic team consummate professionals across the PwC network to provide wealthy families advice on charitable giving strategies, family facilitation, tax and succession planning, real estate services, family office diagnostics, and managing cyber security risk (just to name a few!).

Enerstar provides modern and fully equipped well-site trailers and accommodation solutions in key energy regions across the United States. Enerstar has three key areas of operation: Marcellus and Utica shale with service to PA, OH, WV and NY; Bakken oil shale with service to ND, and MT; Eaglebine serving Eastern Texas.

Provided strategic tax advice to individual and corporate clients that have interest in Canada, the US, or both.Extensively researched and advised clients on complex tax issues associated with US-Canada cross-border payments, business structures (including the impact of hybrid entities), and immigration/emigration from and to the US. Assisted clients with complex tax compliance issues including, immigration/emigration issues, foreign tax credits, and the taxation of certain US investments under Canadian tax law.Wrote and co-wrote a number of articles including commentary on a significant Supreme Court of Canada decision (Daishowa Marubeni vs. R), CRA relief for taxpayers, foreign income reporting, and key tax dates for Canada and the US.

I completed financial statement reviews and audits under Canadian and US GAAP (including SOX compliance) for clients in the technology and entertainment industries. My clients ranged from small private entities (~$15mm in revenue) to large SEC-registrants and other public entities (~$250mm in revenue). I worked closely with PwC's Risk & Quality group to advise clients on technical accounting matters such as revenue recognition (ASC 605-926, SOP 00-2, ASC 605-985, and SOP 97-2), revenue recongition with multiple-element arrangements (ASC 605-25), non-monetary transactions, debt modifications, variable interest entities, and share-based compensation.I was appointed as Audit Transformation Program Champion from 2010-2011. In this role, I assisted to implement a new risk-based audit methodology for PwC. I worked closely with the development team to instruct and guide my peers through the proposed changes. I was a representative for my peer group on the Personal Advisory Committee from 2008-2011. The group acted as a liaison between the executive partners in the PwC national office and the associates.
