I gaduated with an HBSC in physics from UBC and was first introduced to medical physics in my 3rd year working as an assistant medical physicist for BC Cancer. I continued into my fourth year doing my thesis in a medical physics topic involving linacs. I accepted a general manager position at Linax Technologies in 2022. I continue at Linax, striving to develop radiotherapy training and increase access to treatment worldwide. The technology in the radiotherapy industry seems to take leaps every day, but we are leaving the personnel behind. Linac technicians and physicists need access to consistent training to keep up with the technology.
