Responsibilities:Ensuring an easy, effective, highly interactive user experience for all interactive learning assets.

•Develop web-based training applications and LMS’s with a small team. Recent examples include a lean workflow simulation (JS and Phaser); and a custom LMS (Node/Express, MS SQL Server and React).•Maintain, edit and update existing applications, such as rebuilding an interactive JQuery flashcard site in React and a quiz show game in Phaser.•Remain current on industry standards, with emphasis on rapid development tools (Bulma, Chakra UI).•Design and prototype applications in Figma and AdobeXD.•Analyze and organize client educational content in preparation for design and development.

•Meet individually with 4 students weekly to answer questions and advise.•Grade and provide written feedback on student projects.•Curriculum topics include HTML, CSS, Javascript, Node and React.

•Online Course Design: Use tools such as Blackboard Learning Management System, Panopto Video, Flipgrid, Google Docs/Sheets/Forms, Zoom, Excel and more to direct and assess student learning. Use HTML to customize course sites and integrate content.•Customer Service and Tech Support: Field inquiries from a group of 100+ students/semester on course content, use of BlackBoard LMS, workflow, and study strategies. •Mentoring: Advise Classics majors on scheduling, degree progress and potential careers. Serve as Faculty Partner in Student Success Network to a group of 50 incoming students.•Tech Support, Training, and Problem Solving: As Summer Registration Advisor (’19-‘20), meet with incoming students in person or on Zoom to consult on career path and major choices. Design schedule to meet student needs. Train students in the online registration process on Banner9 and assist in registration using screen sharing on Zoom.
