I evaluate water resources in terms of valuation through the lens of supply and demand. I develop water transactions that provide benefits to people and the environment that are scalable and sustainable. This work incorporates elements of economics, hydrology, hydro-geology, GIS, modelling, and-the wild card-human nature.

Led TWT’s programs aimed at generating voluntary transactions to secure environmental water while also meeting agricultural, industrial and municipal needs. This included managing TWT’s centerpiece program, Texas Water Market Makers (Market Makers), through which TWT pledges multi-year technical and strategic support to conservation partners to advance environmental water markets in their priority basins. Assisted these conservation partners in securing and structuring financial packages to execute the transactions they design. Funding for these transactions takes a wide variety of forms, including multilayered stacks of grants, loans, family and institutional capital. Help craft groundbreaking transactions to preserve groundwater and to provide firm water contracts for the environment.

HarteHRI is built around the unique Harte Model, which employs an interdisciplinary holistic approach that creates synergy for addressing ecosystem scale problems threatening the Gulf of Mexico and raises awareness that people and the environment are inexorably linked in their solution.My last project involved non-traditional funding for environmental projects (particularly ecosystem services) by evaluating the place of markets to connect buyers and sellers in the environmental realm.My current project explores policy surrounding environmental flows of water, water economics, and constructing financial instruments that are attractive to those interested in trading water.

I help clients build wealth using a needs based approach to asset management to meet their particular long term financial goals. A service based approach allows me to uncover assets and present appropriate product solutions to achieve those goals. These goals are generally met via a mix of asset classes and products which include: Annuities (fixed and variable), Life Insurance, ILITS, Mutual Funds, TIPS, CMO's, Bonds (Corporate and Municipal), Stocks, ETF's, fee based platform, IRAs, SEPS, 401ks, SIMPLEs, LIRPS, etc.

During my six year tenure as Head Trader I traded the busiest stock (NT: NortelNetworks) on the Floor, handling volume of up to 29 million shares a day. When the Managing Partner was not on the trading desk I assumed his responsibilities. I trained employees with all levels of experience to be more efficient in utilization of systems and attain higher levels of profitability while strictly adhering to compliance procedures. Supervised and delegated correspondence with the Department of Market Regulation, an integral part of operations in today's highly regulated securities environment. Helped to develop 'RFP' (Remote Facility Pricing) software that was sold to other member firms, including E*trade, which allowed automated order execution of customer orders. Monitored my firm's exposure to position risk and made real time decisions as to acceptability of the risk/reward relationshipLeadership and PlanningIn the Exchange's annual peer review I was never rated under the top 5% of Specialists and that was the smallest demarcation of ranking.Served on the 'Tech-Sub Committee,' responsible for determining functionality of the Exchange's trader interface engine (GUI).Served on the space allocation committee, where I was trusted to find balanced solutions to multiple firms conflicting requests.Was appointed to the Exchange's Special Committee on Strategic planning, charged with developing a new trading model for the exchange. A model that had to have a vision to satisfy shareholders, members and market regulation.Appeared at least weekly (usually daily) on the oldest online market wrap-up on the web.Featured as a floor commentator repeatedly on WBBM news radio in Chicago-the most listened to station in the greater Chicago area.
