"The best way to get something done is to start doing it."Designed, tested, prototyped, and managed a next generation battery pack:• Redesigned a fundamental pack component (3900 per aircraft), resulting in a 48% reduction in weight by volume, while maintaining structural integrity, proper tolerance, and injection mold-ability. Directed communications with several injection mold companies to meet the part’s quality standards, overcoming its complexity, material specifications, and thin features.• Coordinated the transition from final design, to prototyping, to small-scale manufacturing, bridging the disconnect between the design and manufacturing teams, with a goal to ramp production from a battery module every 2 weeks to 7 per day. • Expedited the battery BMS testing process from 10 minutes down to 30 seconds by designing a HV quick-cable connector.• Engineered an in-house PEEK film molding process that reduced production time from 3 hours to 6 minutes per mold.• Designed an improved manufacturing process to assemble battery cell groups, resulting in a 75% decrease in labor than the previous generation. • Supported battery impact testing by designing a pneumatic cannon for single battery cell testing and a spring-loaded sled capable of launching a full battery pack, comprised of over 600lbs of cells and components. • Designed a hose quick-connect system to rapidly attach the cooling infrastructure during aircraft recharge. Developed a proficient understanding of multi-layered O-ring design and geometric tolerancing through this project. • Experienced 26 hours of in-house flight training, including a solo flight, to build an appreciation for flight and its dynamics and to understand the immense complexity of designing an aircraft.

Coordinate with external CIOs, plan the evaluation process, organize judges and judging materials, manage all 50+ submissions, monitor final presentations and administer awards. • Enhance the design, development and delivery of highway, bridge and building designs using 3D CAD software, augmented reality, and rendering tools within the Visualization Department. First employee to configure and integrate the traffic simulation software Vissim into WGI’s existing modeling programs.• Aide in the acquisition process of an urban planning and data analysis tech startup. Review legal documents, validate 4 years of company financials with the CFO, build milestone payouts, and create and organize all documentation. • Develop and execute an executive education program with the CEO and President for future company leaders. Design a 5-year curriculum, research external programs, organize presentations and communicate with all participants.
