Critical thinking and creative problem solving are part of any job, particularly in mid-level and leadership positions. Most people still use the same skills and personal style they used in college. In the connected and changing business world, information is no longer power. Everyone has access to information. Attention span is power. Attention span is increased with laughter and engagement. That's how I teach. Even on Zoom. Writing and problem solving have to work together to grab attention in an overcrowded, loud world.I develop and teach custom classes, workshops and seminars in business writing, from emails to technical writing. I teach critical thinking and creative problem solving, to introduce creativity as the skill to capture attention span. I'm also a certified creativity coach, working with business and personal clients caught up in transitions or undergoing change to succeed by using creative problem solving skills.
