About Quinn Molloy, Ph.D.

I am a critical transportation geographer with a decade of work experience in the fields of geography, GIS, and transportation planning, passionate about teaching, researching, and advocating for a sustainable, equitable future. As an (award winning) course instructor at the University of Connecticut, I have the opportunity to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with undergraduate students, encouraging them to think critically about the challenges and opportunities of urbanization. I am also a PhD candidate in the Geography department, where I study the impacts of vehicle dependent transportation-land use systems on transportation equity. My goal is to contribute to the advancement of geographic theory and practice, and to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communities to foster more livable and resilient cities.
