Ever since my second year of high school I knew I was in love with economics. I would patiently wait for my econ class every day, and I could absolutely not get enough of it. As the years went on, I took more and more econ and business classes in high school and I knew this was my calling in life. I knew I JUST HAD to be an economist.Thus, came my decision to attend University and further my knowledge in the field. I chose Northwest Missouri State because they had a very good business school and gave me a scholarship offer, I could not refuse. Through Northwest my love and passion for economics has only grown stronger. I am dedicated on making this part of my career moving forward.Obviously, I have learned a lot about economics, how businesses function, and how to manage a business effectively and efficiently. What I did not see coming however, was how important relationships with people are. The main foundation of every business are the people who work there. That is why I commit so much time to creating relationships with the people I work with or attend classes with. It is so important to understand and know these people. Creating a good rapport with those you closely work with is integral to a project’s success. I enjoy being in an environment with good people who work hard and accomplish great things. I want nothing more but to add to that environment in a company.
