Vroomcrew was built from seeing our customer’s pain points and building something to provide relief from their busy lives (kids, pets, busy work, etc). There was another thing that pushed me into starting my own business. I was at a challenging point in my life after finishing my Masters degree at Saint Mary’s University and was lacking fulfillment while trying to figure out what was next. I needed to be challenged and wanted to be in a role where I could build on my leadership skills. I knew I probably wasn’t going to move fast enough working for a larger company at a 9-5. Vroomcrew began as a class project while at SMU and has since grown to two provinces, delivering over 8,000 services to families in Atlantic Canada. We have provided stable employment and growth opportunities for over 30 full and part-time staff, many of whom are between the ages of 20-30. Our company values of people, process, and peace of mind are consistently embodied through our company’s commitment to giving back in the communities we serve through charitable or volunteer contributions. Now I want to give other people at a crossroads in their career with the opportunity to start their own business with just a little less pain than what I experienced from starting with no money and no experience. We have the well developed systems and processes and take a relationship approach through continuous mentorship and coaching.
