In this assignment I was responsible for the development and marketing of an IT software tool (called an e-LMIS) that manages supply chains of Medicines in low- and middle-income countries. In this very broad job, I was responsible for acquiring new customers, and for translating needs expressed by customers into software development goals. I was the interface between i+ solutions and the Portuguese IT development partner. I led the development of the strategy in early 2019 and involved the CEO closely in this process. I also developed a country wide e-LMIS implementation proposal for Burundi and got agreement from both GAVI and The Global Fund for this national implementation project of 3.5M USD.
