Field technicians under general supervision, perform a variety of technical and clerical duties associated with the conduction of elections in multiple precincts.1. Communicated with election judges to determine issues with voting equipment and processing voters.2. Traveled to multiple precincts to delivery and install equipment/supplies.3. Troubleshooted and diagnosed issues with voting equipment and procedures at precincts.4. Educated election judges and voter through the voting process.5. Worked with numerous tools and pieces of equipment to complete necessary jobs at hand.6. Early Voting Judges process voters during the day, evening, and weekend at Early Voting Sites, beginning 15 days before Election Day.1.Ensured fair and accessible elections for all voters and protected the integrity of the election process.2.Carried out all of the duties of an election judge.3.Collaborated with other judges to ensure fair and efficient elections.4.Completed a two-part training class and passed an open book test each election.5.Troubleshooted any problems that occurred with voting equipment.6.Resolved challenging voter complaints to full satisfaction.7.Served as the point of contact between the Board of Elections and the general public during voting hours. 8.Followed detailed instructions from management to complete daily paperwork and computer data entry.

Polling Place Technicians work directly with the election judges to assist voters and ensure their polling place is running smoothly.  Polling Place Technicians also have more responsibility for setting up and maintaining the voting equipment.1.Carried out all of the duties of an election judge.2.Scheduled meet up between election judges and voting facilities to set up equipment.3.Collaborated with other judges to ensure fair and efficient elections.4.Completed a two-part training class and passed an open book test each election.5.Managed at least 2 other precincts on site.6.Troubleshooted any problems that occurred with voting equipment.7.Leaded election judges through the setting and cleaning up process of the equipment.8.Resolved challenging voter complaints to full satisfaction.9.Activated voter touchscreen cards.10.Organized ballots and scanner tapes 11.Transmitted and dropped off paperwork and ballots at the receiving station.

Election judges have many responsibilities and perform several tasks on Election Day, including:1.Opened the polling place at 6 a.m. sharp and closing it at 7 p.m. 2. Assembled voting equipment for election day (with assistance).3. Provided assistance to voters.4. Verified voter qualifications.5. Distributed ballots/activation cards for touchscreen machines.6. Operating voting equipment.7. Filled out election forms.8.Processed and transmitted votes when polls close9. Certified vote totals

INCLUSION COMPANIONThe Inclusion Companion is responsible for working with individuals with varied ages and disabilities in recreational programs throughout the local Park Districts. The position includes verbal and hands-on support of participants with disabilities, recognizing the need for adaptive equipment, and adapting rules and the environment as needed in order to include the child in the Park District program. Through the help of the Inclusion Companion, the individuals with special needs have a more successful, safe and positive experience.Essential Functions:1. Maintained one-on-one assistance for included participant as number one priority2. Maintained responsibility for assigned included individual unless otherwise directed and confirmed by the Inclusion Manager or M-NASR full-time staff3.
