About Andrey Mishurenkov
We are on the verge of a new epoch where personal robots will become companions in everyone's day-to-day life. Just as the car, the internet, and the smartphone transformed the world, robots are improving the quality of our lives now.In 2020, a group of inventors and I founded Sunny Solutions to accelerate the transition to robotization in ordinary life. We create companion robots that embody the latest scientific advances and make technology accessible to everyone. Our robots are real AI assistants that serve humans, perform routine tasks, deliver digital content, and control the appliances around them.Insights from the market led us to design a device that foreshadows the emergence of personal robots - robots for children. Sunny Junior is an innovative play-and-learn device for ages 3-12. It satisfies the most demanded needs of parents - child safety, engaging learning, and entertainment under complete parental control. As a father, I pay special attention while watching my daughter growing up with a robot. At an early age, habits of robot use are being established which will become the foundation of robot loyalty in adulthood. We are on a track to reach our goal of 10,000 Sunny Juniors sold to make it the first mass-market personal robot for children. I see this as the first step in building a sustainable business.In my early career, I tried many roles without being afraid of new challenges, which gave me a better understanding of people and their needs. As a result, I found my calling in working on creating technologies and products to enhance life.After several years of working in various fields, I founded my own IT company, which started serializing outsourcing solutions for multiple business segments. The company tagline “We make what you use” reflects our goals. In this work, I have participated in the creation of dozens and hundreds of online systems, mobile apps, server platforms, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment. Through working on projects for other clients, I have gathered a vast base of knowledge, skills, and science-based approaches that have become the backbone for building robots at Sunny Solutions. Collaborating, leading, and managing project teams has fine-tuned my skills in building highly productive teams united by a core mission and a set of values.I am now focused on the development of Sunny robots.
