Scope ranges from minor maintenance to major redesign.• Prepare engineering designs, drawings and related technical information, in multidisciplinary engineering team and work independently.• Prepare and interpret conventional and computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for Buildings, Power transmission systems, heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems.• Utilizes/ interpret applicable code & standards and aids in the creation of new standards.• Prepare cost and material estimates, project schedules and reports.• Provide field support to develop & design concepts, verify existing drawings and perform final design checks, carrying out field measurements and inspections.• Prepare contract and tender documents, Presentation, Information requests and site instructions.• Provide technical assistance & supervision during job execution on site.• Supervise, monitor and inspect construction projects and installations.• Preparing daily workloads for Junior Draftsman & coordinating the daily allocation of work. • Mentoring and training up junior and new staff.

The CPP (Coal Power Plant) Project is a Coal Fired Cogeneration Facility, comprising two (2) equal units of approximately 70 MWe gross at Rated Output (RO), capability to supply 260 t/h of process steam using Circulating Fluidized Bed boiler technology. Minimum codes and standards that shall be followed are listed below:• Main equipment: ASME, ISO, DIN, German TRD standards IEC standards• Steam and water quality: VGB guidelines• Civil works: AISC, DIN, BS and Eurocode• Piping and Valves: ANSI/ASME B 16.104; ANSI/ASME B16.34; BS 5793Major Responsibilities:Tie-Inn Package:% Responsible for Process Tie-Inn points locations with existing Plant while keeping in view the process unite requirements.% Produce Tie-inn Piping routs, Piping Supports, Bill of Materials, Bill of Quantities and Material Ordering (PRs).% Produce complete Existing Pipe rack Evaluation package (As-Built, Structural & Piping Details) and coordination with Construction Unit & local Consultant (ENAR).% Produce New Pipe-rack for Tie-in Services (Route, Joint details, Access Platforms and Supports).% Produce process piping for new pipe-rack (Tie-in Services) Routes, Plans, Sections, ISOs, BOQ).% Review, Markups and commenting on drawings received from the Consultant (Piping, Structural)Boiler Package (HHI):% Review Structural Drawings, Markup and completeness check. Interconnecting Piping Package:% Review, Markups and Commenting on Pipe-racks steel structure.% Review, Markups and Commenting on piping routs & Spec.% Initial process piping material take off for the whole plant (CPP).Misc.:% Relocation Plans for Existing facilities from Project Site.% Checks/Produce Construction Engineering Drawings and BOMs.% Frequent site visits, Interact and communicate with design leads and other project members.

Responsible for inputting initial layout and revising existing CAD files and developing detailed packages of drawings based on engineering concepts to the Company’s requirements.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Creates or modifies drawings in accordance with the design or markups.Prepares drawings and standards files in accordance with Company standards.Provide technical guidance to the contractor worker’s team.Performs tasks without supervision.Utilizes existing Company drawing standards and aids with the creation of new standards.Project scheduling & tracking information.Make changes, corrections and improvements to scale drawings and project schematics.Review sketches or preliminary drawings, including Site layout, Floor plans, Section & elevations and erection drawings.Obtain inputs from the designers and make design adjustments.Prepare letters, Presentation, Information requests and site instructions.
