I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, graduating in December 2024. My experiences span engineering design, research, and entrepreneurship, including two internships as a Structural Design Engineer, research in tumor mechanics, and founding a startup in lab automation.At Guangdong Midea Group, a leader in refrigeration equipment manufacturing, and Stanley Black & Decker, a global provider of power tools, I contributed to projects such as DIY mobile split machines, hose structure optimization, airflow enhancement, and noise reduction. I gained expertise in structural design, product testing, quality control, and supplier management, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve innovative products.As a Research Assistant at RPI’s Mills Lab, I investigate tumor-induced stress fields using computational vision and finite element modeling, contributing to cutting-edge cancer research. My work includes developing image registration algorithms, analyzing cell mechanics, and mentoring undergraduates on experimental protocols and coding practices.Additionally, I am the CEO and founder of Labro Inc., where we are developing an automated cell-counting device that integrates sampling, counting, and data management in a compact, user-friendly design. This startup has allowed me to grow as a leader, learn about patent processes, and explore the intersection of engineering and entrepreneurship.I am passionate about creating innovative, user-centric solutions and advancing technologies that address real-world challenges. I look forward to applying my skills and experiences to new opportunities in mechanical engineering, research, and product development.
