About Rebecca Brown

I am a retired gymnast with a passion for recreation and teaching. With a degree in psychology behind me and a postgraduate diploma in Recreation Therapy underway, I aspire to make recreation accessible to everyone who seeks it. Through my work history, I have been able to practice inclusive programming as a one-on-one support for children with disabilities. I am passionate about working with children to help them participate in recreation programs meaningfully. I aspire to use my educational background and work experience to form a career working with children with disabilities. My experience is mainly with autism, though I would like to expand my experience to more diverse populations. I would be grateful for opportunities where I could showcase my strong work ethic and dedication to inclusive practices.
