As Chief Financial Officer for Brown & Brown, my primary focus is ensuring strategic capital allocation, robust financial discipline, value creation through acquisitions, other high-impact business decisions, operational excellence and building a dynamic, world-class team. In addition to holding responsibility for all financial aspects of the organization, capital markets engagement and treasury management, I also provide strategic guidance to Brown & Brown's board of directors. I have more than 30 years of diverse operational and financial leadership experience, including having held multiple executive finance and operational roles. Before joining Brown & Brown in 2014, I held various leadership positions at Thomson Reuters, most recently having served as their Global Head of Customer Administration. I proudly sit on the board of directors for New Planet Energy Development, an organization focused on recycling, manufacturing alternative renewable fuels and bio-refinery technology, and the Jacksonville Branch Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. I am also on the advisory board for my alma mater, Illinois State University College of Business, and a member of the Forbes Finance Council, an invitation-only community for executives in accounting and financial planning. Statewide, I sit on the advisory board for the Florida Institute of CFOs and the Foundation for the Florida Chamber of Commerce, while locally, I serve on the boards for the Museum of Arts & Science and the Riverfront Park Esplanade.I reside in Daytona Beach, Florida. Outside work, I enjoy golf, basketball, skiing and traveling.
