I am a post graduate in electrical engineering and I have 3 years of experience as Lecturer in the Electrical engineering department at Mehr chand polytechnic college Jalandhar where I performed following tasks/duties. Deliver lectures of the subjects being taught to students pursuing a diploma in electrical Engineering .Perform practicals of valid subjects in labs for students.Work as a guide to the students for their project worksTo maintain the attendance record of the students.Set the examination papers.Work as an invigilator during exams.Formulate internal assessment of students according to their performance.Conduct practical and theoretical examinations.To set and conduct periodical exams during the semester.Conduct and organize quiz competitions, seminars and workshops.To evaluate examination papers.To provide career counseling to students and organize industrial visits as well as placement drills. Six years of experience as "junior plant attendant" At Guru Gobind Singh Super Thermal Plant, Rupnagar Punjab which is under PSPCL and performed following tasks/duties •To supervise the general operation and working of plant.Supervision of the running of auxiliary machines.To look after the installation of new machinery.Troubleshoot problems and assign it to the maintenance team.Maintain a record for the stock of spares required.Maintain a daily log of the flow of dry fly ash generated.Supervise and maintain the record of lifting of dry fly ash through trucks and through pipelines.Handling the operation of the weigh bridge mechanism for the lifting of dry fly ash by trucks.Prepare the invoice for the companies that purchase dry fly ash.Supervise the operation of dry fly ash handling system.Execute any other duty or work assigned by a senior officer.Overlook the working of various installments at the plant such as, compressors, different kinds of valves used in ash handling system, ash conveying pipelines, hoppers, meters ,silos  and other instruments to maintain optimal pressure and ash flow.  Troubleshoot for any kind of faults or failures in the equipment or instruments installedSupervise automated or computerized control systems, auxiliary equipment such as pumps, compressors etc and prevent the fly ash from polluting the surroundings. Keep the record of various kinds of everyday activities such as faults, repairs, maintenance or works that are carried out in order to keep the dry fly ash handling system running efficiently. Now I have moved to Canada and am actively looking for a job in Prince George BC.
