Worked in VA research lab isolating enzymes and substrates using differential salt precipitation, liquid chromatography, HPLC and gel electrophoresis. Moved to core facilities ran spinning cup protein sequencing, AA analysis. Added peptide synthesis, IR DNA sequencing (Li-Cor) and oligo synthesis.Joined core facility at local research hospital doing peptide and small molecule synthesis,(both automated and manual), HPLC purification and MALDI for QC. Maintained and calibrated machines as needed.
