The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center is a Luxury Hotel, privately owned by Virginia Tech under the Hilton/Curio branding; Managed by Benchmark Resorts.MANAGEMENT & OVERSIGHT OF HOTEL OPERATIONS, CONFERENCE CENTER OPERATIONS & TECHNOLOGY SERVICES – Serving as the Assistant General Manager, as well as, serving in other Appointed Leadership & Executive roles.As the Assistant General Manager for The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, currently leading the day-to-day enterprise operations of the property, including coordination, strategy, and oversight of Capital Improvement Projects of the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, Management of all Departments within the hotel & conference center, (less F&B), including also the Technology Services Department and Conference Service Departments. Likewise, responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with two major ownership groups – Virginia Tech University and The City of Roanoke Commission – to ensure good stewardship, peak performance, and optimal return on their investments.
